Our Commitment to Fair Credit Reporting

At Life 2gether, we are committed to ensuring that all consumer credit information reported to credit bureaus is accurate, fair, and compliant with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

As a data furnisher, we understand the responsibility of reporting consumer payment information accurately and securely. Our goal is to help you build credit responsibly while safeguarding your rights as a consumer.

Your Rights Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)

The FCRA is a federal law designed to promote the accuracy, fairness, and privacy of consumer information reported to credit bureaus. As a consumer, you have important rights, including:

  • The right to know what’s in your credit file.

  • The right to dispute inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information.

  • The right to have verified errors corrected within 30 days.

  • The right to request a free credit report from each major credit bureau once every 12 months.

  • The right to limit access to your credit file through security freezes or fraud alerts.

For more details about your FCRA rights, visit the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).

How We Report Your Credit-Builder Savings Plan

Your Credit-Builder Savings Plan is reported as follows:

  • Your account will be reported to participating credit bureaus as an installment account with a defined term.

  • Monthly payments will be reported as on-time payments, helping to build positive credit history.

  • No interest is charged on your account; however, a flat $100 monthly administrative fee applies to each account.

  • Consistent on-time payments will contribute positively to your credit profile, while late payments will result in cancellation of your plan.
